Cow elk have a longer snout like this one. The hind has a shorter snout.

Elk for sure. Is this anywhere near Palo Duro Canyon or the Canadian River drainage? Seems like more and more elk are showing up in through there. Coming down from New Mexico is my guess. If folks leave them be we may get a wild herd going up there.

Their calves will never make it without momma right now.
Don't know what hinds look like but those are elk butts as stated above.

Don't know what hinds look like but those are elk butts as stated above. Hinds butts are generally darker than elk, Agree those are elk.
