Neat guy that has since passed; kinda hippie-dippie, but made a lot of stuff from horns. I have another pair that's cape buffalo horn; not mine, but still cool.

I have around 8 I been thinking about making jewelry for my girls. last year I had bear claw pendants made.
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, b/c they know not victory nor defeat"- #26 TR

Had a very nice gold ring made for my wife several years ago. She wears it proudly when she goes out. She's had lots of comments about it. I still have several I've yet to do anything with.

I had some earrings made for my wife from elk ivories. Used a group called Wilderness Mint I found online. Turned out pretty nice. Wife likes em enough to wear em so I'll call it a win.

Several jewelers up this way make elk ivory jewelry. Earrings are popular as are rings for men and women.
I bet we have over 50 sets laying around, bull and cow ivories.
I've taken spike elk ivories that are hollow and made zipper pulls with them.

Growing up in CO I have a whole bunch of elk ivories tossed in an old coffee can. I have taken 25 elk and think I have pulled them all. Someday I need to do something with some of them.
