Keep at 'em. Just single boars are occasionally wandering around my place, that I can see. Maybe I've made a dent? (Nah.)

Nice setup, shoot'um on the rifle range! Nice job!
Distance is not the issue, but the winds can make it interesting!

That's great!
I had a buddy down in Caldwell that set up a rifle on the picnic table on his patio in a similar situation. His feeder was 575 yards from the patio so he zeroed his thermal on his rifle (6.5 CM) for 575 yards. In the evenings, he would watch TV and during the commercials would step out on the patio and peek through his thermal to see if any hogs were at the feeder. Once or twice a week, he would see a hog or hogs and cap one. He could get his Mule out the next morning and collect the dead hog and drag it to his dead pile.

^^ I have a spot picked out for a pig pipe and slow-glo light about 250 yards in front of the house. 'Hope to set up the same thing on the front porch. The area is visible from laying in bed in the bedroom. 'Gotta get approval from the War Dept. She may think it upsets the je ne sais quoi of the front porch view.

hopalong said, "old and lazy." I say, "genius." I have a feeder in the pasture behind the house (feeder about 300 yds. out) that has Red LED hog lights shining on it each evening. I have shot quite a few hogs from my back porch with that set up....BUT Mrs. Flintknapper put the Nix on that. Says she doesn't like being startled while watching her TV shows in the evening. Go figure. So....had to put a small table and chair out on the edge of the pasture about 75 yds. from the house. Now I have to sneak down to that location to snipe the hogs. Dang women.........!
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

why I never step outside at night without a rifle in hand. front yard this time, time to reset the traps I guess. 50 yds from the front door, used the jamb to steady. lol ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/06/full-24515-422398-20240607_042804.jpg)
