anyone seen a decrease in turkey population or are you still seeing a lot of birds?

yep turkeys disappeared several years ago at our place.

Same here, used to have alot of turkey 15 years ago. Guessing the hogs have raided nests, we have a S*** load of hogs now. Over 2 year period, I trapped over 200 racoons from 1800 acres. We see a few now, but no where near the numbers we used to see.

that is kind of what i was figuring. We got several places in Baylor county and have only had one lonesome turkey on camera.

Turkey's and quail are facing a much bigger issue than just hogs, however, all of the nest raiders hurt them.

I've noticed there's been a drop off in numbers the last few years but lately have been seeing them on camera again. Quite a few young birds so hopeful.
