I caught this deadly rattlesnake a couple days ago….lucky to be alive! Theses were all road rescues. Even the baby killdeer. There were two with their parents close by. One ran off the lease road…this little guy stopped and buried himself in a clump of grass where I had to drive. I wasn’t able to go around so had to stop and move it. Mom and dad weren’t happy but I’m sure they were happy I moved their baby away from the road vs. squishing it.
