Had to many cucumbers had to go to work canning 5 pints spears 8 pints sliced of dill pickles. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/05/full-56672-421281-img_2840.jpg) It was a good day. The cucumbers are growing great. Even had 6 left over for cucumber, tomato, onion salad.

My wife and I have put up 96 quarts of homemade dill pickles this year. We do the hot bath. Cucumbers are covering us up this year. We have a good time doing it but we are done. For me, much better tasting than any store-bought pickle.
