It’s the last bit of gas that’s been drained from an ATV carburetor float bowl after the engine has been allowed to run dry. My experience has shown it dries and creates havoc if left in a carburetor for months on end. Since being diligent to drain the carbs on all my small engines before storing them, they always start and run great months later. IMO, all those fuel additives are good for keeping gas fresher but lacking for more long term storage.

yep, turns to varnish when liquid evaporates and clogs things up ... why I only run ethanol free fuel in all my gas equipment, seems to be much less effect.

That's corn oil essentially. Ethanol free is all I run now.

I dont buy anything except ethanol free gas and add a little "Mechanic in a Bottle" . It keeps everything clean and lubricated

I’ve had best luck with treating fuel with a stabilizer and just trying to run it every so often.

Ethanol free in anything smaller than a truck.

My UTV’s, weedeaters, lawnmowers and boats all get ethanol free gas.

Been a real game changer having that option at the pump
