Any suggestions on a good puppy chow for fattening ’em up? I have a couple GSP’s that look like I’m starving ‘em. I’m feeding Purina Pro Plan Puppy (under 1 year) and I’m giving them more than suggested. The vet double checked for parasites and that’s not the issue. He’s suggesting changing food when we finish the current bag. Anyone here know of one that’s good at adding weight to a very active pup?

I was able to put weight on my Vizsla pup by adding a can of pro plan high protein on top of the kibble. I also use that to get them to eat when they get finicky while on a hunting trips.

Feeding my 4 month old pointer pup same as the big dogs, Purina Pro Plan Sport 30/20, only twice a day. Will change to once a day in one more month. She’s not eating as much in the morning these days. The amount she eats is the same as the adult pointers.
