Tons of great SW restaurants. Maria's, Dolina, Palacio Cafe, Rancho De Chimayo, The Shed, & Sazon come to mind. But, Pasqual's is our favorite.

If you like art, the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is quite nice. It doesn't take all that long.

There is a great network of hiking trails just a few minutes outside of town. It's called Dale Ball and it's located right at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristos.

I highly recommend Bandelier National Monument. It's a great preservation of Pueblo archeological sites, with cliff dwellings, cool structures, and petroglyphs. Requires some ladder climbing.

Tons of galleries, bars, ornate cathedral and churches all near the Plaza.

If you like fly fishing, there are multiple opportunities within 1 hour.

The last time I was there in Summer 2022, we made the mistake of staying at the Hilton Buffalo Thunder. Absolute sh!thole for the price we paid. Most restaurants were closed and way understaffed, our bathroom had piss on the walls that reeked, maid service came one time over 3 nights, most table games at the casino were closed because they couldn't hire dealers, and the pool was filled with rowdy locals not staying at the resort and they commandeered all the lounge chairs. We usually stay at Eldorado and have never had a bad experience there. Also have stayed at La Posada and Loretto- no complaints there either.
