Just curious. What is the going rate, per acre, for a season dear lease? Annual?
I own my own place and am just curious.

Similar to house buying, location means a lot, high deer density and deer quality vs not as much will dictate more $$$ per acre or $$$ per gun spot. Also, acreage size, topography, how many guns permitted to hunt the place, amenities such as cabin, electricity, running water, etc.etc. as well as year round access to property vs just more seasonally. That said, avg. Cross Timbers since that is your region is probably somewhere in the $2500-$3500 per gun spot range, certainly many higher and a very few lower or $15-$25 an acre I'd estimate. Again someeeee lower than that but most higher nowadays than that. See what others chime in with....Out towards Graham, TX where I hunt near, this is pretty indicative.

Like DQ said - it depends on many factors. Location, amenities, quality of deer etc. I would check with other LO in your general area for an idea of what they get
