Yesterday morning I killed this OLD dog on the first stand. Obviously a very old coyote but he came very aggressively to the call. This is on a ranch that Mike and I have called for seven years. Last week near Tilden, we called the two oldest male coyotes I have ever seen respond to a call on back to back mornings. This is on a ranch that gets a lot of calling pressure. There is no doubt that the ultrasonic frequencies have something to do with these "old timers" making a fatal mistake.
Adios,
Gary

When I was a boy, I hunted South Texas. Hunted it hard. The old timers, back then, called the town of Tilden by the name of "Dog Town."

I recall reading in an old book, maybe a book by J Frank Dobie, that "Dog Town" got it's name due to packs of stray dogs.

Maybe Mr. Gary Roberson, a man I admire, can add to the info.

God Bless, Dale
