What is the pound per acre for broadcasting the Cowpeas. I have been reading for a week and have not come up with a consistent amount. May have the opportunity to get it done with a drill. Thanks Daniel

I threw 100lbs on about 1.5 acres last year and shredded fall plots on top. They grew well. Deer hammered them but so did aphids later in the summer.

I finally got 8 plots disc ( .5 to .75) acre. And peas sowed. The next day 2 inches of rain. All 8 jumped out of the ground. Since then 5 of the 8 have been stripped down to the bare stalks. The other 3 haven't been touched. All are within 1/2 mile of each other. Any idea of why?? 8000 acres. Thanks Daniel
