Thought I'd put together a 'year in review' video of all the hunts I captured, even the bow misses, as well as a teaser for the '24-'25 season. It's longer than my normal 1 minute, but lot's of shooting.

Are these all your shots or include others hunting with you? MLD?

Im not a bow hunter but Im amazed you hit any, in slow motion it looks like they are sensing it coming and start moving just before the arrow hits.

That's part of the challenge. In one of the shots, you can watch my arrow go right under the buck because he DIDN'T drop like 95% of them do. In one of the other shots, I shoot over the back of a doe, likely because 1. I aimed a bit too high, 2. I was elevated (arrows hit high when elevated), and 3. she dropped a BUNCH. All my shots are 20 yards or less, and even at that close range, they can hear the bow releasing and react (drop) in a fraction of a second just as the arrow flying at 270 fps gets there.

That's why I like to slow motion the video so much with a lighted knock. It really gives a perspective that is missed at full speed.

yes sir. I have four troughs that are gravity fed with 3/4" poly pipe that are currently laying on top of the ground. I have one stretch of pipe that runs 2,000 feet with a 27' drop from cistern to trough. I get roughly .75 gal / min flow. For me that is enough. The troughs are 25 gallon and I had to attach hog panel wire on top of them because the hogs were using them as pools over the summer! I want to trench and bury the poly pipe, but I need a rock saw and apparently a 2nd mortgage to pay to have it done...

Thanks y'all. Self video while bow hunting adds another level of difficulty, which I like. The right deer, the right position of the deer, right distance, in frame, no chance of hitting another animal, not getting busted on the draw, estimating the drop of the deer, making a good shot, and ultimately finding the animal. Lots of things have to go right. The challenge is real.
