Seems like they have been closing them out for 5 years. They must still be producing them.

Dang……too bad it’s mil. Check the link I posted; they have MIL and MOA in both 3-15 and 5-25.

They are solid scopes. so i'm not crazy for having the same thought. or else you and I are a little insane. Without a specific use, i think that 3-15x range is probably the best and most versatile. hmnmmmmmm, thinking!
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I bought one of these based off of a recommendation from JG a year or two ago and couldn't be happier with it. I am probably going to buy 2 or 3 of the 3x15 variants.

This is likely the cheapest variable that’s mechanically sound. Absolutely agree, WP! I had one for a year, from Burris to test. It rode with me every day for a year on an LR-308. It tracked, it returned to zero, it took the bumps and bruises that my rifle scopes usually take, and it stood up to all of it. They asked for the scope back, and then cut me a deal on a new one. It is the 3-15X Mil-dot. The Mil-dot is easier to see at 3X, than the SCR-Mil. But, of course the SCR-Mil provides more precise holds when you need to make holds. It is not going anywhere. For many years the 3-15X is one of the most versatile, and fairly common now days magnification ranges. 5 feet to 1000 yards, it'll do it.
