Just when I was moaning about nothing to hunt but coons, I checked the non-transmitting game cams. My life has purpose again, with the arrival of this big ugly rascal. The hour shown on the pic is an hour later than actual. Look at the bristles on his back.

It's really hard to estimate size and weight from a photo like that, but I'll guess that he's gonna go 225.

Big and nasty. Is he showing up enough that you can pattern him or is that the only picture.

I hunted him last night, but he never showed. And he didn’t go to either of the Tactacam locations. I’ll try him again this evening. If I get him, I will weigh him, if I don’t have to drag him out of the woods. This feeder is in the deepest darkest location I have, so I’ll need to drop him on the spot. I’ll have the 6.5 Grendel and 10 rounds. Here’s another pic. He looks like a big one, but I have-never gotten a hog on this place that went over 200 pounds - at least the ones I weighed. There was a huge old sow that got into a thicket after I plugged her and died, but I just left her there. Too big to deal with.

That's a good one for sure. I bet he goes well over 200. I'd say 225, maybe a touch heavier. I like the razorback. Always makes them look mean.
