A 30+ year tradition for us has been clam chowder on Christmas Eve. Lots of other pot luck dishes also, but the star is the chowder!! Montauk Long Island style - clams, juice, bacon, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, potatoes, heavy cream , salt/pepper, and lots of butter

Anybody else have a long tradition??
