Donated my buck so I made a meat run for a doe and hogs. Things got Western with the hog, night time walked him up after seeing him from my Ranger. Got really close, like 15 yards and had a he-- of a time pulling off the shot looking through scope, head lamp in the way. Knocked him down first shot, got up, missed, hit him, still on his feet, missed, rifle empty, he still walking towards me and the light screaming his head off spewing blood out his mouth.....ended it with some head shots from my Glock .40. 2023 was a good season. Now it's time to hammer hogs and coyotes.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Congratulations! Yeah, that's why I also carry a sidearm while hunting. Got some meat and that's what it's all about.
