My son killed this yesterday (12/14/23) in Blanco County. He didn’t measure it but he’s 6’4”. He’s not holding it close so I don’t know the exact measurement but it was big enough!

If I’d had been with him, I would have skinned it and tanned it. I told him it was probably a $200 skin but he left it laying and I guess the pigs got it.

I used to be thick with those dang things. Had to watch everywhere I walked. Saw one about every other day. Then the pigs moved in and I haven’t seen a snake of any kind in years.
