I've scouted them hard, know where they eat every night and where they bed and hang out during the day. I slipped in way before sun up and watch them come off of center pivots over the horizon, through the cracks and openings in the high red wall. I can first see them at about 600 yards and had there been a shooter in the bunch I could've picked my shot from my prone position in the brush that I opened up a little a few weeks ago. This was opening day, while I gave my whitetail set up a rest one morning. Headed back this coming weekend hoping for a pre rut buck tending or trailing. I'm wearing sub alpine head to toe including mask. They never knew I was there until I reached for my phone to take this video. They know I'm there, but just don't know what to do about it now that I let them come right to me. I had decided that I wanted to take a 300 yard shot for the best visibility. Next week I hope they don't get this close before I ruin their morning commute.

I had a lot of time to watch them come in. Had I seen one of the 3-4 good ones I've seen after season the last couple of years, yeah. Pucker factor would have been high.
