These kind of scumbags must believe that no one can put a stompin' on them. There's always someone who can, even if you have to talk to a guy that knows a guy. His home address isn't too hard to find... Maybe put up a big billboard across from his house... Or something...

I just don't understand how this guy hasn't been arrested, prosecuted and thrown in jail with all of the evidence of scamming he has done. Has to be in the thousands of $'s which should be felony level type activity? Verbal agreements, vague contractual agreements............In the world of deer leases there just has to be an element of trust in most cases. There are people out there that take advantage of that concept. Add the quise of "ministry" and religion and you have an opportunity for a Robert Tilton Jimmy Swaggart Jim Baker con man to do well. This time last year a forum member told of an unpaid debt of about 12k from Scott Huggins for a delivered load of feed. He was conveniently absent at the time of the planned delivery, spoke to the feed dealer who had shown up on site after a long drive and told him an emergency had called him away. Promised to put a check in the mail that day. Months later, no payment and all kinds of excuses. Called him out publicly here and it got paid. I remember it well. Curious, has anyone ever tried calling the 800 number on the AMR website? Seems like there should/could be an avenue to report them as an illegitimate business and action be taken to shut him down? Guess this just shows that you can't be too careful when signing up for something, and keep records and paper trails of everything in case something goes south.
I understand the "hook" could be the religion and ministry push, but dang, I would do everything I could to shut this guy down to keep him from pulling this crap to good, hard working and HONEST folks.
I have had a couple of incidents on guided/outfitted hunts somewhat similar, and was very fortunate to have a good outcome. I just HATE crooks and glad the word is getting out on this fella!

This crook has yet to pay us back! Piece of freaking trash! Get ahold of the County Sheriff for Menard county, Also the local DA. They are both aware of Scott and what he's doing in their county. The Sheriff told us as soon as we were to file on him that he personally would go get Scott. Fortunately for us, with a little demanding Scott decided it was in his best interest to pay us back and wire transferred the money back to us.

The youtube video gave me the willies. 'Rhythm of it screams con. I couldn't make it very far. I'm gonna step out on a limb here and guess he's originally from deep east Texas. I live an extremely blessed life, and it infuriates me to hear the word "blessed" so overused by loons and confidence men. It turns more people off to Christ than leads them to Him, in my opinion.
