My land is situated smack dab in the middle of training flight routes out of Dyess AFB. This C-130J flew close enough to trip the camera. There are typically 4 ships in a flight so this was probably the lead ship. Camera is set on 1 minute delay so the other three would have been long gone before it reset.

Wonder if they’re the same aircraft that appear fly over me here in Brock from possibly Mineral Wells Airport towards Granbury direction. I’ll get 2-4 overhead regularly at least twice a week. What direction is that c130 going?

Most of the flights I see are on a northwest heading outbound from Dyess. I also see a lot of Blackhawk and the occasional flight of Apache gunships heading to and from Dyess on pretty much the same flight path. As I was checking cameras and filling feeders this morning, there was a lone UH-60 Blackhawk heading out northwest. The B-1 flights are normally about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile south of the flight path the helicopters and C-130s take and of course greater altitude. They still rattle my windows when they pass over though.

Gotta be different crews. 8-12 of those things flying around just between Weatherford and Abilene. (just what we’ve seen anyway). Seems like a lot of those birds around here

I was in Arkansas a few yrs ago when the C130 flew low and slow over the river, tree-top level. Evidently training from local AFB Little rock. Didn't make much noise, full flaps, then popped over a tree-line at the turn of the river. Acted much like a little Piper Cub. Cool to watch.

Used to see them pretty low in the Buffalo Gap area making the big circle.
