Watched a young buck for a while. Had another one moving across the edge of the trees, but with all the leaves still on, I never got a good look.

17 deer and 6 pigs this morning. Four 3yr old 8pts and one is definitely a cull, we'll get him off next weekend. Decent fawn numbers too.

Only a measly 6 pointer. Heard a shot close but not sure where.

Watching rutting activities out the kitchen window at home this morning.

Lots of dove enjoying the corn, no deer. Cows have moved on, thank goodness, their bellowing was annoying. Winds have picked up a lot. Getting ready to go work on a stuck protein feeder at another blind.

He was trailing a doe around while she did the slutty doe prance, but not a full rut yet. He had a good two inches of fat between his guts and ribs. The last time I saw that we had a pretty hard winter.

What’s the deal with all the damn wasps? All around my trailer and in and out the windows of my blinds. I thought the wind would settle them down, but no. Be glad when we get a hard freeze.

Yep the are looking for hiding spots a lot this year.
