If you are in or around Menard County this Saturday, you might want to attend the Chamber .of Commerce Hunter's Blowout. They will be raffling off almost 40 firearms and other interesting items.

Goldthwaite used to do a Hunter's Supper around Thanksgiving, with TONS of great stuff. Friend won a Polaris SxS one year. Now it's an opening weekend chili lunch and there's only 10-12 raffle items and all the guns are disappointing.

I'll see if my son wants to go up to Menard. I've never been to that one. 'Depends on if our target buck makes an appearance where we are.  I sent the C of C a donation for it.
