Just got back from a great trip to Glenham, SD and wanted to post up a recommendation for this lodge, Pheasant Cove Outfitters. Really good people running a family business bent on making a good experience for their customers. They chase wild birds the first half of each day, and then finish up in the afternoon with hunts on their preserve, so you get the best of both worlds. Was really pleased with the number of wild birds we saw on their land as that was our groups goal. The food was outstanding food and the accommodations very comfortable. up Link to their website and pricing is LINK. Tell them Dave from Texas sent you! Feel free to PM me with any questions about the hunt. I'm not acting as a booking agent.. just trying to spread the word on these really nice folks and the excellent job they do. smile

That looks like an awesome trip. On my teacher's salary though, I'd probably have to stick to pen-raised birds here in TX. frown

You might be surprised how affordable it is when you consider the accommodations, food and drink are include. They cover the cost of professional cleaning and provide a cooler to take the birds home in.
