I was wondering if the deer were moving this morning with the warm temp and bright moon. I am stuck at home today smoking a brisket for a dinner with friends this evening. Stay safe, I'll be after them next weekend.

For what little it is worth spending time at my lease and several cheap trail cameras. What I am seeing in Young county. Very little movement at feeders in the morning and no large bucks on the morning pictures. Lot of movement at feeders at sunset, but noticed the most recent pictures some changing to just after dark. I'm seeing Batchelor groups with several legal to large bucks in the evening pictures. Not seeing them break up yet, but I also stopped checking the cameras so not to scent up my stands walking in and out. Because of what I was seeing on cameras, same reason I stopped checking cameras, heat, and moon, I slept in this morning and focusing on the evening hunt until things change. I will probably stay into the cool front, so i have lots of time to hunt without pressuring them too much. Trying a relaxed smarter, not harder tactic this trip.
