Wife’s filling out the paperwork for her doc visit Friday with a new doc at a large hospital chain, a question in there was “how many guns are stored in the residence”. Not really sure what that has to do with getting an annual physical…

Not really sure what that has to do with getting an annual physical… It's more common than you think for Physicans to ask on paperwork, but then again I think whomever makes up the paperwork gets a gold star for asking so many silly questions.

not a question that needs answered. If pressed you can still not answer. Nothing in medicine is important for that question to be answered. Or you could answer in a ridiculous manner by saying 100 or more
Now if you are under investigation by CPS or something, probably ought to answer truthfully then....

I had this one on a Doctor's questionnaire recently too. I skipped it. Sad state of affairs that we are in when Doctors are asking questions like this that do not pertain to any medical treatment.

I been breaking in a couple new docs in Az...their nurses hit me with the gun question. I simply said I’m not answering that. Both said that’s fine sir and moved on. No big deal to me.
