I've had some pretty good luck on solo boars at my pig barrel the last 5 weeks. It has really been producing. All 4 boars I killed there I weighed and they ranged from 216-314 lbs.

I killed another very nice boar out on the edge of my BIL's peanut field, but he ran just over the hill before he went down. Due to the rains it was a couple days before I could get over there to find him. He fell about 30 yards over the top of the hill from where the video stops. Obviously there wasn't going to be any weighing him at that point (2 days in the sun with buzzards on him). Conservatively I estimated him at 230, but I probably shorted him by 10-20 lbs. The 237 lb boar soaked up bullets like a sponge. Still didn't kill him outright. Me and my daughter went and dug him out of a thick shelterbelt as it was turning dark. Spotted him at about 20 yards and he was getting up and turning towards us. With my daughter behind me I wasn't taking chances and kept shooting until he stayed down. Anyways, here is a compilation video I made with a funky blues rendition of House of the Rising Sun.

That is great news! Enjoy the hunt.

Like. I especially like the one shot at about 2:01 in the video. Porcine gymnastics can be spectacular!

Brian- the white hot/black hot videos were a lightweight 16” 300 HAMR shooting a 125 TNT. The first red mono video was a 243 bolt gun with 87 VMAX. Second red mono clip was a 6.5 Grendel with 95 VMAX.
