What height rings for a 34 mm scope with a 50 mm bell. Barrel contour isn’t too fat

I use “Low” Nightforce Ultralite and “Low” Hawkins Ultra-light” rings on all of my 34mm sized scope tubes with 50mm or greater bells. Having said that, I would recommend measuring your setup to be sure.

I used a set of Vortex PMR medium plus on my Savage heavy barrel with 20 moa rail and Burris XTR II with 50 mm scope. It was a little high off the barrel. Maybe a little less than 1/4”. I’d say medium maybe lower will work.

Can you even get a 34mm scope with an objective of less than 50mm?

Yes, there are several. Athlon, Eotech Nightforce, March, US Optics to name a few.

Low or medium will get you there.

It will come down to natural point of aim and comfort after that.

Put medium on my Henry, low wouldn't work.
