What can you tell me about hunting in the hills north of Antlers and east of Snow Oklahoma?
I've always hunted in west Texas so hunting all these trees are new to me.

I haven't hunted there...yet.
But a good friend of mine lives on 20 acres just east of Daisy, when we go to visit there's deer at the 2 feeders he has going in his yard every AM and PM.
Plenty of deer from what I see.

There ain’t no deer in Pushmataha County. Although if there were, they might look like this one that I helped my buddy drag up the side of a mountain. Aged by a ODWC biologist at 8+ years old.

Lots of deer but certain areas in that region are like the Wild West when deer season rolls around, if you pm me the general area I can give you a pretty good idea on what to expect. We own several properties in SE Oklahoma and have hunted it for the last 40 years so I’m pretty familiar with it and where to stay away from.

At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

Buying an out of state license to deer hunt in Oklahoma can get very expensive. To all 3 seasons, bow, muzzleloader and regular gun will cost close to 1000. And regulations on antlerless deer are weird and hard for us Texas boys to figure out sometimes at first. Only certain days are you allowed to kill does and that can vary depending on weapon and which season is in at the time. But not to discourage you, the hunting in that area can be very good with much better public land than Texas. Oklahoma actually tries to enhance the habitat on their WMA’s. Poaching in southeast Oklahoma is an issue as well as the methheads. But I guess that’s not really any different than Texas. Good luck and enjoy.

do you own stock in someone that sells rice bran? cause there has got to be something better to bait bears with than rice bran and easily affordable and doable

cotton seed “maybe”. Not much if anything bears wont eat

be better of just switching to low profile 1000lb feeder with lockable lid and HD varmint plates
