1st hunt with my dads rifle

When my dad passed away I got several of his pistols and rifles. He was active in Cowboy Action Shooting and had lots of single action pistols and lever action rifles. I also got the rifle I shot my first deer with. This is a nice bolt action rifle with a 2x scope. They have been setting in my gun room while I decided on if I was going to shoot and or hunt with them (2years). ThenI decided to finally hunt with them. Took this boar with the bolt action 30-06 yesterday. It was a lot of fun hunting with this rifle. Next are some of the lever action rifles!

Cherish those guns. There are/were only 2 guns from my family that I wanted. It's unlikely I will ever posses either.

My eyes are bad. I guess its a Model 70. Love them.

Like that Model 70, BTW. Great rifle and a great cartridge. A man could get by nicely with only that!
