I have several open weekends this year for Dove with lodging. This ranch (Rail A Ranch) has a house that sleeps 16 and it takes at least 10 to book a hunt. The ranch has two sunflower fields that are 45 and 30 acres. Your group will be the only ones hunting. The hunt cost for the hunt and lodging is $250 per person for each weekend other than opening weekend. If someone wants to book opening weekend, the cost will depend on how many days they want to hunt. These are the weekends I have open on this ranch. The birds and fields are looking better this year, we just received 1.5" of rain and that perked the fields up pretty good. With more rain in the forecast for this week. Sept. 1-4 Sept. 8-10 Sept. 15-17 Sept. 22-24 Oct. 13-15 On my ranch J&A Ranch I have my bunkhouse open Oct. 13-15. It sleeps 18 and takes at least 10 to book, price is $250 per person. www.jaranchhunting.comI also have a little cabin that sleeps 4 with several open weekends (Eolian Ranch). The hunters that book it will have access to my fields and an 80 acre wheat/sunflower field close to the little cabin. The cost here is $100 a day to hunt and the cabin is an additional $175 a night for the cabin for the group. I think we've turned the corner, this year looks better than last year. Message me here or check out my website for more contact information www.jaranchhunting.com

Some fields look better that others, but these two fields at Rail A are some of the best this year. Thanks Also, I have my cabin available on J&A ranch on September 16th weekend. It sleeps 7, cost for hunt and lodging is $250 per person.

Is Rail A that place just past the creek we hunted last John? No, Rail A is the house and fields around Canyon Road Restaurant. That big field you hunted was the Creek field. I have it this year but the sunflowers didn't do well in it, but it does have some wheat in it. 1.8" of rain on the fields last night, a few of the sunflowers are starting to flower.

September 16th weekend at Rail A Ranch has been booked. Everything else still available. Sunflowers are heading out, and in the past few days I'm seeing some whitewings, along with lots of mourning dove.
