It’s amazing what eating healthy and hiring me a nutrition coach has done for me. Started April 1 at 200lbs. May 1 I am at 181lbs.
I have done nothing crazy but follow a stricter diet, increase water, and cut out the sugars. Time to hit it a little harder and add 3-4 days of cardio to the plan.

Good job, I found your 19 pounds if you want them back. How young are you?

Great job.
I'm down about 17 lbs but not that fast.
Looking to cut out more sugar and not have to eat as little as I have been lately.
Hitting the weights again too.

I have never been a big firm believer in drinking alot of water

Just drink water when you feel thirsty, that is how I treat water

Part of my diet is liquid restriction of 1500ml-2000ml per day. It’s tough when it warms up

Why are you on liquid restriction? Medical or diet?

Medical, along with low sodium restriction.

It has always been as simple (for most) as CICO...Calories in, Calories out. Burn more than you put in and you lose weight, every time. Good job on losing that extra weight!

53 years young..... My goal weight is to be around 170lbs. I am 5'6" so I think that would be an ok weight.. I know the stats say I should be like 140lb but that is too light for me.

80, 6 ft tall and 217lbs. Down from 220. I walk a mile most days and sometimes do it twice. The rest of the time I sit on my butt in front of TV. While sitting, I lift light weights, stretch large rubber bands and do 50 or 100 reps with the hand squeeze deals. Also have some strap on ankle weights that I use. I do all that twice per day to keep up some muscle tone. Have weak and now painful back problems due to polio when I was a small child. I don’t overeat but can’t lose the pounds and the belly. Breakfast is generally a chunk of banana nut bread and whatever later in the day with wife.

I spend most of my time sitting on my [censored] in a recliner reading or watching TV. Several times per week, wife and I get in car and just drive 100 or so miles North, South or West. East Is Dallas and traffic so we avoid that. Found a neat prairie dog town about 20 miles into Oklahoma. Reminds me of my childhood when they used to screw up pasture land. I own some recreational property(junk land) about 70 miles North of home in D/FW. I go there and ride a 4 wheeler or fish but have to be careful of my back. No longer can cut my own firewood. That’s what grandsons are for.

No matter what I do, I really don’t feel healthy but am certainly not sick. Doctor, who knows me well, says I’ve out lived my warranty and not to slow down. if I slow down, I’ll stop.

I have found out that fighting boredom can be expensive.

What do you other old goats do?

The recommendation is that you drink half your bodyweight in ounces every day. So, a 100 pound person would drink 50 ounces of water. It helps with body functions. We are bags of mostly water. You can drink too much, but you can also drink way too little.

Exactly, my recommendation was to drink 3 liters a day. I need to get back to doing that... I have slacked off.

I've always heard 2/3s but it is the right approach

Thats pretty much the idea I think. Drink it earlier and slow down a long time before bed.

I urinate a lot during the day, but I also am extremely well hydrated via water, Diet Dr Pepper, and all the fruits/vegetables I eat. But I'm down 117 pounds since 9/1/21, so there's that. I don't really urinate a lot at night. I will sometimes will go pee if I get woken up by my phone or something, but usually I sleep all night.

How much water you drink per day for weight loss is meaningless

You are too young to remember Stilly. He was on Johnny Carson a lot because he was about 80 when he wrote the book. He was funny when he was on TV. I think his book did well for a few years.

Just a little water history left out of the video.
