So back in October of 2021 my dad was diagnosed with Small-cell carcinoma. And around that time, Cody Johnson released “Till you Can’t” which became somewhat of a family mantra, knowing the end would come at some point. Well, after a few months long battle he passed in February 2022. My oldest boy (6yo) had a rough time with it for a while. Well, fast forward to this year, he said he wanted to be in the Elementary school talent show and that he wanted to sing a song for his Papa. He was one of the only Kindergartners to participate. He can’t keep time to save his life but I am so proud of him. His Mama and Nana were a mess, but it was good.

That put a smile on my face. I chairished the tme with my grandfather sure siwhed your son had more time with his but he apparently left a mark with what time the did have.
