BFS Maybe some kind a python. My thought too. Somebody's escaped or released pet that was eating them out of roof and wallet.

Timber. They always remind me of Tiger stripe camo from Vietnam.

I saw one killed up here like that and Ramsey said it was a timber. He was right and the location does not make sense, but the colors look right for a nope rope.

That is certainly not a Timber. The head is too small and thin for venomous. A closer inspection would help. I'm thinking a Diamondback water snake or Common water snake. It was probably seen near a water source. We have multiple just like these at the ponds in our neighborhood. Diamondback water snake Common water snake

I've handled several large ones. Look an the end of the tail...black! Bands look nothing like a water snake. Additionally, the size is considerably larger than a water snake.

I'm decent identifying Texas snakes. I was torn between the Timber and some form of water snake. This was taken by a walker and posted on the neighborhood page. It is not far from a creek and a busy park on the McKinney/Frisco line. If they figure out what it is the people will be scared for their life.

Those of you that say water snake I would love to pull up a chair and watch you pick her up. Yup… In my experience with them they are comparatively docile, very well camouflaged, and secretive. Most folks walk right by never knowing they just had an encounter with a venomous snake….

Most likely a conservative snake Resilient, self reliant, passive, and just want others to leave them the hell alone! I concur!
