I spoke with my rep yesterday. IMO, he seemed to feel it was a middle of the road, price competitive, optic.

I have seen some 384 scopes that seemed to have an image better than 384 and some that looked like they had less. It is a 384 resolution scope, so it is only going to be so good (given that the standard is 640), but you can do a lot with 384 resolution and 2x native magnification. Sightmark, owned by the same people that import Pulsar (Sellmark), seems oriented to producing very functional and reliable electro optics. I bet this will be a decent unit. With that said, I would avoid being a first adopter, regardless of the brand. Just about all first offerings that I have seen and some first time new model offerings, come with bugs which are sometimes significant in new models. If you aren't in a hurry, let the others beta test the unit and see how it does. UPDATE, Hans just dropped this and it looks pretty nifty! I like that the video does have audio with it.

This little guy might be perfect on a .22 for coon eradication, keeping the entire package compact, light and relatively inexpensive. I’m going to watch it

Pretty solid choice for an entry level or second scope. May have to contact my Sellmark rep next week

One of the few industries where the features and tech keeps getting better, but the prices keep dropping.

How do the specs compare to the AGM TS25-384? Or TS35?

The Sightmark Wraith Thermal is a great little scope and we're happy to see a new competitor in the lower priced sector of the market. We've been field testing the scope for a few months and putting it through the paces. It's a legit little entry level thermal. In our opinion, the appeal is for guys looking for an affordable, small, easy to use scope and if you have already own a Wraith NV scope this is 100% the logical upgrade. For the guys who say "I don't want all the bells and whistles, I just want to hunt!" I think this is a great option. Reason being, while it 100% does record audio and video, you have to put in a micro SD card to do it. So if you don't put the SD card in, no recording. There's no wifi streaming, so again, for the guys wanting simple and easy to use without all the extras that they feel clutter a menu, this is the best option. On the other hand, since it still has audio and video recording to the SD card for guys who want it, plus it has plenty of reticle colors, 5 zeroing profiles, color pallets etc, it really has a lot of offer for everyone.

How do the specs compare to the AGM TS25-384? Or TS35? It absolutely holds it's own in image quality to the Rattler TS25/TS35, I've run them side by side. The pros for the Rattler are a 5 year warranty, American Defense QD mount included, picture in picture and wifi streaming. The pros for the Wraith are simple, easy to use, better battery life, focus ring throw lever, removable SD card, green color pallet is cool and you're getting a little more magnification than the TS25 for the same price. They are really good competitors.
