Well today I got to see something that was pretty dam neat. I shot with a new forum member. jdcass and he was shooting a pump shotgun. And he was on the mark. I have not been shooting long but I have never seen someone shoot a pump like he did. He is new to sporting clays but one hell of a shooter. We even got brave and shot the white course and he did amazing on it. I will be shooting with him again you can count on it. If anyone would like to shoot give me a shout im ready

5 Stand Dan here shoots the ugliest 870, can you say Patina? Shoots it as good as any $20,000 O/U.

There was a shooter in the group in front of us at the New Hope shoot. He was shooting another beater 870. True pair, couldn't even here the action rack.

Love a slick pump gun myself.

yellow or orange clays today?

I can't shoot a semi auto very good. Yet alone a pump shotgun.

I seen various old timers with pump guns at clay ranges that can flat out shoot - one guy i use to shoot with would break out a old Ithaca 36 and just spank everyone.

This taught me : Don't bet old men with pump shotguns that want to shoot for money!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is a beautiful shotgun also...for flying objects, four legged varmints, or defense.

I watched a Game Warden shoot 24/25 in a round of skeet with his issue 870P with slugs loaded in the sidesaddle lol.

Thanks for the kind words. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile. I do love my pump shotguns.
