Anybody recommend a wild game processor in dfw preferred north dfw that does processing year round? I normally take my whitetail by our lease. Went on an exotic hunt and need an animal processed.

Kuby's. It's in Dallas just west of the 183/35 split.

Cinnamon Creek is the best and I have used a lot of processors in DFW including Kubys. 3794 Old Denton Rd, Roanoke, TX 76262 https://www.cinnamoncreekranch.com/

My apologies Compadre, but Cinammon Creek's owner severely misquoted shipping to me when I was talking to him in New Mexico, when he was taking in game on a ranch, and, 'pretty sure they screwed my hunting partner out of two or three COOLERS full of bison meat. Some fault lies with the hunt broker on stating that "processing" was on site. We had a trailer and plenty of coolers to bring it all home to our own processors, but the Cinamon Creek proprietor talked us out of it. ( I threw away their crappy gimme cap they handed out at the "orientation". )

Just an observation but it isn't difficult to do your own processing. A couple of sharp knives, grinder and vacuum packer are all you need. I cut, trimmed, ground and wrapped these 3 whitetails in a single afternoon by myself.

That’s not an observation, it’s your attempt at chest beating to sound better than others.
Sooooooo…..
Back to the OP’s question
IMO Cinnamon Creek makes great snack, but Kuby’s makes better sausages

He didn't ask for your observation, but then again you never miss an opportunity to promote yourself and lecture others. I suspect the poster makes a shi-pile more $ than you do and his time is more valuable than yours.

No it is just an observation that a processor isn't really required since it can be done by yourself. This way you know how the game was handled and you know the game you put in the freezer is the same game you shot. And it shows an ability for self sufficiency which is probably something you lack.

No mystery why you hunt alone on public land. You’re a low rent jerk with no friends.

He didn’t ask wether he should use a processor or do it himself, yet you had to interject your bs rhetoric so you could feel relevant.

I do my own, but have eaten jalapeño cheese summer sausage from cinnamon creek and it was excellent. Have also eaten smoked links from kubys and they were great as well. One that I hear a lot on the radio is mas meat in Bridgeport. Not too far out of town to the west. May be worth a call.

I have only used Cinnamon Creek and have had nothing but good dealings with them. I shot a large buck this past season. I got half Jalapeño Cheese Summer Sausage, quarter Hatch Green Chili Summer Sausage, and quarter Texas Boudin. I ended up with 52#,26#, and 26# with it coming out to $600. Haven't eaten any of the Boudin yet but both of the sausages are awesome.

Kuby's is good. If you are bringing your game in quartered... you can take it to Butcherman's in Royce City. They process one animal at a time so you know you are getting your meat.

Both kubys and cinnamon creek are good. Only thing I don’t like about kubys (maybe this has changed?) is that they don’t vacuum seal and product comes back in bulk packagings. Cinnamon creek processes everything in much smaller portioned, vacuumed sealed packages

It's a little distance out west, but Dry Creek Processing out in Poolville does a great job with all my deer, and it's open year round.

Cinnamon creek processes everything in much smaller portioned, vacuumed sealed packages Kuby's vacuum seals and has an actual label instead of the colored twist tie identification. And they reduced the size of the actually sausages, which I think is great because they are bun length now.
