we shot today:
Did 3 rounds of 5 stand - first 2 I shot so/so (not good/not bad) - 3rd round I got my act together and shot high score for the win!

I also got to shoot with Sam (non THF) he has been on our league team (AKA The Scrubs) for the last 2 leagues. Sam just turned 18 & graduated HS this year. He was accepted by 5 colleges & went with BAMA w/ a 5year full scholarship. He is not only smart but was one of our top shooters. He will go far!!!!

This was probably the last time i will get to shoot with him for the foreseeable future. Just glad i beat him on the last round of 5 Stand, so he won't forget me.

After that went and shot sporting clays with one of elm fork owners(mark) I was able to hang with him (20yr shooter- with his own range) vs me (2yr shooter)

Once i got warmed up it was all good, but it took 2 rounds of 5 stand to get there (not Good) & not sure how to fix that problem. (Cold start)

I here you about cold starts. Some shoots allow you to take a few warm up shots like at a flurry station or trap. But most don't have a warm up practice area like golf with putting area or drivng range...
