Not an April Fool's joke. This two appeared on camera early this morning. These are the thumbnails sent by a Reveal Tactacam. I have never seen any aoudad in Montague County, but know that they have been seen in Clay County just to the west.

Aoudad (and other sheep and goats) are outside my wheelhouse. That is what I am seeing? Yes? No? Other possibilities?

Definitely ewe and baby,

Are there any game ranches nearby that maybe had an escapee

These animals are survivors and hearty

Stuff my dad said in the deer blind

"I can dive deeper and come up drier"
"did you do that?"

I am in the SE corner, near F-burg. I know of a couple of game ranches, one near me and one on the north side of St Jo., but have never seen auodad at either. The one nearest me is full of smaller, foreign deer, plus whitetails. The one north of St Jo has whitetail, elk, fallow, (but used to have blackbuck and scimitar oryx), and llama.

Had some show up in Baylor county west of you. Never saw any in 9 years, then 3 showed up on camera at feeder in the middle of a large ranch. Several pics over 2 days then never again. They were not seen in person just on camera. Guess they passed through. No game ranches anywhere close at all to that place that I’m aware of.
