Finally got everything in today for the most part. Still needs cerakote, bolt knob, a muzzle device. Was at 12 lbs before scope, rings, and base. Finally got to do something outside of the AR universe. I think I like this bolt gun stuff. The barrel is one heavy SOB.

Sure like the fluting!

And vertical grip stock is the only way to go.

200 gr bullets or heavier. Let it eat!

Thanks. That scope just looks way too sloped. Maybe I'm other thinking it. Just doesn't look right.

20 MOA base, scope looks normal to me.

A rifle like that, and a scope like that, scope parallel to the action/barrel would look wrong. Zero at 100, and its still a one mile rifle in the right hands.

Awesome, thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate it. Gonna do a 100 yd zero and stretch to 500 yds when it gets back from cerakote.

40 moa wouldn’t be out of the question!

215 berger hybrids if you can find them with a case full of retumbo is money!
Stay in the 215 and heavier range and it will shine for sure

Thanks everyone.

These things are pretty fun to build. My son wants a lefty 7 PRC. So I'll probably get started on that before long.

I need to get into reloading next. Gonna see how it does this weekend with some factory Hornady Match or if y'all can think of anyone that can work up some loads for me.

Bet he chambered two barrels at once. If you get 200 pieces of brass, your brass will outlast your barrel.

Great rig. Can't wait for range report. You must be one. strong young man. I would need a caisson to get it to the firing line. If you're interested in Extreme long-range shooting 2 miles, holler back. I know a group who would love to help you get started.

Next buy should be a Nightforce ATACR

It's definitely all there. I think it was right at 12 lb before the optic and mount

I believe you always said “barrels are cheap, shoot it and spin a new one”

My order of 1250 Berger 215gr Hybrids were delivered yesterday. They are an excellent choice. With the free bore of the 300 PRC, The Berger 245gr EOL will treat you good also.
Hornady 225 ELDM are nice too!
Who chambered the barrel and what twist rate?

Haven't even got a chance to take it to the range yet.
Crown Ridge did 95% of the work. It's a 1:9 Twist
A local shop ( 903 Tactical) just did the cerakote and Sako Extractor
