It's next weekend, the wife and I are thinking about going. Drive up Saturday morning (3 hour drive) attend show, dinner, spend the night, come home Sunday. Anyone been recently, what should we expect? Thanks,

Curious about the feedback. Last time I went was 10 years ago. It was a two day event if you wasn’t running through looking for a specific item.
Be sure and put your hands on those $50-60k shotguns. To my knowledge it’s the only place you can handle such things without a deposit.

I go at least once a year. Try to make them both. I know how everyone complains about gun shows, but this one is different. If you are looking for a particular gun you will be able to find it. There are guns there that are reasonably priced, you just have to know what you are doing. There are more individuals bringing their personal guns to sell than there are guns at most gun shows. A lot of very interesting and knowledgeable people there.

I'll be there working. all the feedback is that it's getting harder and harder to find deals at it, but the variety is unmatched

I have been once and it was a couple of years ago but I was impressed with the amount of guns and I would say at that time 95% was guns or gun related and not candles and such. I would suggest going on Saturday and then finishing up on Sunday and wear som comfortable shoes.

Buzz, they certainly do. When I lived in Enid went spring and fall for 12 years. I usually ran out of legs or money before going thru the whole show. I bought more guns standing in line before the show opened. Been in there a few times when a gun goes off that was (unloaded). Everyone needs to go at least once, see things there you won't see at most gun shows. Hotel rooms are tough to find unless you get out of Tulsa.

It sounds like something I should avoid. I’ve never seen a pretty rifle or shotgun that I didn’t want to buy.

All I can say is WoW! Wife and I went today and had a blast. Gun prices were sky high, example: Remington870 Wingmaster for $900.00. We arrived at 9 and were on out feet until 4, but we saw the whole show. Crowd was big but plenty of room, no issues parking. Dinner and resting in the hotel, headed home in the morning. This picture is only half of the show. The other half is behind me.

When I was a kid in the 80’s we lived in Tulsa and my Dad and I went to that gun show every time it came around. The entire time I have lived in texas there has never been a gun show I have ever been to that even came close to half that show was even compared to 1980 something.
Best gun show in the world right there

wish we had a show like this near Dallas. High prices are expected due to the gun market rising. You can always make an offer.

It all boils down to the dollar having less purchasing power, its in all areas of life. Get what you want and can now because it may not be available or affordable tomorrow. I agree also Texas really falls short on the gun show realm, everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas right! Oklahoma been stomping a mud hole in our azz for many years with that particular show!

You are right. I go to the small shows in Oklahoma. The price is always better. I believe the reason is there is a gunshow or 2 every weekend in the Dallas area. You have sellers that have now store front. All they do is buy a table or 2 every weekend. They have no reason to sell at a good price to the public. Because next weekend there is another show and buyers. Lets face it there are to many gunshots in the Dallas Ft Worth area

My buddy Jeremy and I went on Sat and walked the whole show. Agree most prices were high, but we did find some good deals and everyone we bought from was willing to negotiate down from asking price, sometimes quite a bit.
The main gun Jeremy was looking for was a Ruger #1 in .30-06 and there wasn't a single one at the show !!!
