Just started a crock pot roast with potatoes for tonight's dinner. Seared the roast and put in bottom of pot, sprinkled a dry pack of ranch dressing, a packet of onion soup, some peperoncini peppers and stick of butter on top. Eight hours from now on low heat I will be hurting myself as I chow down.[Linked Image]

I'll use either beef or pork and carrots and onion, that's it, I'll also make up mashed potato. Stick to the rib food..

That is all mom knew how to make growing up.
I like it with the peppers to make sandwiches....kinda like chicago style pit beef.
I don't care for the potatoes and carrots cooked that way.
