I have never ordered a thing from Walmart until this week. I was looking for a certain fishing lure and they had it so I set up an account with them and ordered the lures since they cant be found in the stores around here. Think the total was around $60 and I qualified for free shipping due to the dollar amount a guess.

Here is where it gets funny. The order has been delivered in full but it came in not one, not two, not three, but SEVEN shipments over the last 2 days. One package was delivered by a Walmart worker and the rest by Fedex.

I got my lures so I am happy. Not sure how they make any money like that though.

Always had good luck with Wallyworld orders as long as it's not sent by USPS.

I've had similar stuff happen with them. I don't get it.

We get free shipping so we use it all the time. Maybe they were sent from different vendors?

This, if you look under the price it’ll tell you if it’s coming from Walmart or 3rd party seller on Walmart.com. Same with Amazon I exclusively only buy prime stuff on Amazon. I just bought some fertilizer that wasn’t available on prime took over a week and a half to get to me. They didn’t even ship for a week, drives me crazy.

This. I have had the same experience when ordering through Academy multiple times.

I will check the boxes when the rain clears out and see where they came from. The lure is a Walmart exclusive though so I highly doubt they came from different vendors. My guess is they were shipped from different stores because one box only had 1 single lure in it and another only had 2.

Could be but a lot of those 3rd party sellers buy up stock and then resale it at a higher price.

I just ordered a spinning reel handle through WalMart and it came USPS. Took 9 days, but shipping was free. Quite a bit of their items come from 3rd party sellers.

WalMart shipping is the best thing in the world, I use it weekly, if it an heavy object I have it delivered and half the time it is same day and free. Stuff like a case of copy paper, Gatorade, I had the biggest Bounty Rolls they offer delivered yesterday came same day.

The best deal I have found is deer corn, it 2 day Fed Ex delivery to my front door and free shipping

I still don't know how they can offer free shipping on anything over $35 and some of it is same day by door dash.

I did notice as of last year they quit offering Tide Detergent via free shipping that is delivery from store or hold for pick up, but other than that it's awesome

I needed a 1.5 horsepower Century 220v pool pump. Walmart by far was the best value including shipping. I couldn't believe it... that pump arrived pretty quick.

The logistics formula used determines the quickest and cheapest way for the product to arrive. If it's to send all items from a distribution center, it will. If it's to get each one from individual stores and use the store to store shipping for a piggy back, that's what they will do. Much like Amazon, Walmart does tell you what company is providing the item it just takes some digging to find it. My only issues with Amazon purchases have been from third party sellers.

Those resellers on Amazon and Ebay really tick me off. There is a Little Debbie cookie that I like and only available from Thanksgiving to Xmas. As soon as the displays in the stores go up they will buy all of them. Then they will end up on Amazon or Ebay for over 2x WalMart's price. There were resellers this year selling the new Girl Scout cookies for 6x the Girl Scout price.
