Yep, basically a big old nothing burger. His order instructs the Fed to remind FFL dealers that they need to do background checks. Wow, what a huge change. It sounded like it also had a section where the Fed's are going to stamp their feet and tell the states and local govt's pretty please, you really, really, really need to send your shell casing data to the giant Fed clearinghouse database. Forget about the fact that many of the places that don't send them the data have state and local laws against doing exactly that.

Yes, they are going to attempt to stop private sales. That’s a huge problem as are any new laws that erode our civil rights. But there appears to be lots of complacency on the THF.

How so?

There are two sellers on here that are gun flippers and known to the BATF but thoses sellers don't just sell here although they foolishly use the same screen name on other sites that they are selling on. There are 3 BATF agents that are long-term members of this forum. Selling you collection doesn't draw the ire of the government (or at least the ones I talk to) even if it is a bunch of items but buying a gun in the morning and trying to sell it that afternoon gets under their skin and at some point the BATFs higher ups are going to pass along the order to makes cases and examples of a few private sellers.

Edit: I should clarify something. The people that I mentioned who are gunflippers are known to individuals in their private lives but those people also happen to be federal agents. Your name is not written down on any list.

Would someone show that mORon a 4473 form? And tell him there's only two ways a firearm leaves an A & D book of an FFL. To another FFL or a corresponding 4473 form.

His son falsified a 4473 form, so I thought he'd be familiar with them.
