From our yard at the old place, we could hear the bass player any weekend night.

I had a bacon jalapeño cheese burger with pimento for the cheese on a sourdough bun and onion rings.

They have a great burger. It’ll fall apart, so ya have keep a good grip on it, which makes it hard to devote time to the onion rings. My mouth is watering…

I went and ate there right after it opened years ago. It had great food then and if they are still open today it speaks volumes for their food and service. I'll have to go back again soon.

A great burger that falls apart just about describes the wonderful green chile cheeseburger at Sparky's in Hatch, New Mexico. Man, I have to visit Alamo Springs ASAP.

I’ve driven by Hilltop more times than I can remember. I stopped there once.

It's my go to place for burgers when down around Fredericksburg. It's definitely not as busy as it used to be before the pandemic but to me I kinda like it better now. Before 2020, it was so crazy crowded that you'd have to wait forever to get a table and then hope your food would show up. The new owners are trying their best to get people to come back again and get some good people who actually want to work. Fantastic burgers.

Love that place! We stopped in there about six years ago when on a trip to Fredericksburg and never miss a chance since when in the area. Meat is very fresh and high quality and real cut potato fries. I also get the jalepeno bacon burger. Haven't been there in a couple of years, but it's always been grab your own cold beer out of the cooler on the honor system too when we've been.

Too pricey? (Insert square-head emoji here.)

Had burgers and beers there on Thursday afternoon. Well worth seeking out, and thanks to those who added to this thread.
