I am reading all sorts of articles of how Visa, Mastercard and American Express are going to join forces to discriminate against gun owners. Obviously, they have gotten a bunch of push back which has made them second guess their decision. So they have done us a favor and decided to “pause” their work on this violation of customer trust and of the second amendment.

In any case, I have a visa and I would like to change. They have not loyalty to me and I have none for them.

Does anyone know of a credit card company that is taking a stance against this movement?

Last question. Who’s comin’ with me???

I think you're SOL. The banks have no spine, and regardless of what thier personal political stances are, they as a group are the worst of the PC left wing knee jerk reactionists.

Maybe we should open a new bank.

Go to your bank and withdraw cash...

Customer...I would like to withdraw $2,000
Teller...No problem, what are you using the cash for?
Customer...Guns, ammo, hookers and blow. Now give me my money.

None of your business. They really like that one. The truth is they have to give you the money and you don’t have to declare what it’s for even over the “limit”.

Unfortunately they immediately report you for suspicious withdrawal and the .gov be all over you.

They will lose out on all of the bass pro, cabela's, academy and other card holders. Don't think it's going to happen. Too many people will quit using cards.

Most folks will never know they were reported.

Just the idea that the banks are teaming up to come against us is enough. There has to be a nonwoke credit card company.

For four years I have been using a CapitalOne Spark Business card, which is Visa.

Over $50k per year goes through it all pertaining to ammunition and rifle parts. Not one single hiccup thus far. I charge quite a bit a month, and pay it off weekly, or bi-weekly. I doubt they want to lose the business.

Is there any real evidence to suggest that they are coming after gun businesses, or is the still just the new code implementation?

Having a code for gun shops isn't necessarily bad. Grocery stores, airlines, restaurants, etc. all have their own code. Sure, with additional tracking there is risk, but there is also the opportunity for something like a new card from a pro 2A company. I can already see the ads for the "NRA American Express Blood Red Card with 5x points at gun stores, and 3x on mail order ammunition".

This is kinda my thing. I think they pay lip service to the woke but that has it's limits when up against the all mighty dollar. I don't think they actually want to alienate that many people. And if any company is all about the money, obviously it's a credit card company.

Side note, as true old school classic liberal...it shocks me how many young supposed righteous a holes look to corporations to deliver the justice they don't want to lift a finger to achieve. I thought we (formerly) did not trust evil corporations. It don't get too much more evil capitalist than credit card companies.

As has been suggested... it is just possible that the suits at the banks started counting the dollars (profits) they were risking. Of course maybe this was all just talk to appease their leftist masters but there seems to be a line they are not (yet) will to cross. That line is $$$$$$$$. I will add that smarter people than me have been buying guns with cash for a long time.

I regularly withdraw several thousands at a time and I don't recall ever once being asked for a reason. Are banks really doing that??

Whoa there Mickey! This company is new to me. Please tell me more of your and others experiences with this company. I am VERY interested but always cautious.

Thank you for posting this.
