like the title says i randomly quit getting emails when i get messages or someone comments on a post none of my settings have changed i verified they are all still on i also checked my email settings and spam folders and nothing has changed and i have not gotten any messages anyone have any ideas?

Go to your preferences under your profile and scroll to the bottom where it says "Email and Private Message Preferences". The second one is "Receive an email when you receive a Private Message". Toggle that back to "yes". I tried to do a screenshot but I guess the Aggie jokes are real. Send me a pm with your number and I'll happily walk you through this. G'luck! -Andrew

Your both using Gmail email addresses. You both have the email box checked in preferences so that is not it. I'm receiving email notifications without any problems, but it is to a personally owned email. I suspect your problems are being caused by gmail somehow since your both not receiving the email notifications. A couple of things you might try is adding THF as one of your email contacts in gmail. And on a desktop version you can filter THF to "never send to spam". Then maybe gmail will recognise it as a valid email. Good luck.

I'm going to try what sniper john said and report back. Just find it odd I have gotten 1000s of emails from thf then it just quit

Believe it or not, I had to create another email account just for this site. If you are with Gmail that was my problem. I went to yahoo.com.

I had to switch off of Gmail as well. Just switched it to my Xfinity email and all went back to work.
