Some entitled kid from the 'hood got his little feelings hurt when Adams quoted a Bible verse. Our AD, Hocutt, is a big pusssy.

You can't say anything without offending someone. Kids get paid more than the coach and then get to run the show. Holcutt ought to be cut, cut loose from his job.

Kids get paid more than the coach and then get to run the show. ?? Adams makes $3 million per year. No players are making more than the coaches.

Walking a slippery slope when trying to integrate religion into athletics or really anything else for that matter; very personal and in a category of its own....

I just figured with the NIL and some of the figures I had seen of different players in different sports getting big pay days that someone would be making some big money. It is a far cry from the $17.00 we got for laundry money back in the mid 70s. I stand corrected. I understand the religion vs. athletics problem that was opened up to some extent, but someone somewhere is going to be butt hurt by anything that is said. I heard considerably worse when I played, but I had no one to voice my concerns to and was told in a roundabout way that I could get over it or get gone. I always liked not having to pay for my schooling, so I just got over it.

Agree BenBob. Lots of these entitled cupcakes today would curl up in a fetal position in the corner if they were subjected to "old school" philosophies from the '80"s.

Food for thought here. The suspension is because he quoted a "racially insensitive" Bible verse referencing slaves serving their masters. Sooooo, what race were most slaves at the time the Bible was written? Or does context not matter at all anymore?

Old school wasn't always right either. Racism is not ok but I'm not so sure he meant what he quoted in that way.

its a bible verse relevant to 500BC-200AD. How is it racist toward him? Is he an Hebrew/Israelite? Part of the Persian slave trade gathered from Caucasus area? There was still slavery in Iran in 1929 ad this is Problem with America, erasing of history so there is NO context. We are dumbing downing generation's, with purpose to be racist

Hearing he's also being investigated for spitting on a player.

Betting his goose is cooked there, if he did/said what was alleged on the spitting thing and was giving his perceived scripture based sermon, he's probably gone. Kids are there to play ball, not be minimalized or preached to.

Coach Adams does have a point. If he had used boss and person that works for the boss, he would have been okay. When he said slave, is when it went south. The only reason all of that happened is because everyone has so many rights that no one has any rights. People in charge need to start wearing body cameras, just like the police. Bottom line is no one is in charge any more because whoever they are in charge of is going to be butt hurt by something that was said. I wonder how this theory has affected our military? Do subordinates still take orders?Sad state of affairs we live in nowadays.
