Just another lie by O'Biden. If I remember correctly the last ban didn't reduce crime or shootings. It didn't. It also happened before the AR became the most popular rifle in America. Back then, it was not as widely accepted. There's not much of a chance in getting that passed today, I don't think.

I’d wager more people are killed and maimed by distracted drivers, but I don’t hear him trying to outlaw cell phones, vehicles, or large screens in the vehicles.

It is statistical fact. And 16 year old kids are given licenses every day. Plenty of senile and mentally ill people also drive every day.

Why not just activate the militia? Every able bodied man in Texas between 16 and 60 must report to their local town hall/county courthouse for enrollment. They are required to report with their own firearm, an AR-15 in .223. If they fail they are fined $1. THEN the militia is required by law to own such an arm- not much FED GOV can do about that.
Bringing back the militia HAS ALL KINDS OF BENEFITS- totally patrol the border, security at public schools. We have this untapped source of man power not being used. If EVERYONE had to participate, many hands make light work, only have to serve a couple of days a year- what's wrong with that? "Conscientious objectors could pay a $25 a year fine to opt out and the funds used to administer the thing.

They are required to report with their own firearm, an AR-15 in .223 any firearm of their choosing. If they fail they are fined $1. THEN the militia is required by law to own such an arm- not much FED GOV can do about that.

He always mentions the 1994 "ban"...you could still buy a brand new AR15 during this "ban",it just wouldn't have such dealy features as a folding stock,bayonet lug or the utterly deadly flash hider. You could still buy magazines over 10 rnds,sure they cost more,but they were everywhere. They act like they outright banned ownership of all those guns and mags. I guess if you repeat something enough people will belive it.
