What are the scope brands that you have to pull up the elevation turret before it will twist?

Older busnell elites were this way along with the gen 11 razor. Similarly the leupy mk5 have a button release. As does the lower power NF atacr. S&B pmii had a locking turret with a pull up unlocking feature the ultra series had a locking feature as well.

The old Weaver Super Slams have locking turrets for both windage and elevation. Great scopes, BTW.

Steiner T6xi have locking turrets. GenIII Vortex Razor and Bushnell Elites as mentioned above.

I only need one vulnerability to get in and there's always at least one. So, it's just a matter of time.

Steiner T6xi have locking turrets. Not the 1-6x24.

My Delta Stryker has a locking elevation and windage turret. One scope I'll probably never sell

Several models of the Leupold scopes have them. My VX-7 has them. It's a hunting style scope with pop up turrets, which keeps the turret a low profile yet you can dial for wind and elevation. I've used it on several rifles shooting out to distance, including my 224 Valkrie bolt gun.

I have another Burris, bought the one I mentioned above based on price and the years of dependability I got from the other. This Signature HD line may not be offered any longer, I think it was around $500.00 a few years ago.

The Vortex Razor AMG 6-24x50 has them on windage and elevation-- very underrated scope for lightweight, long range crowd.

The Vortex Razor AMG 6-24x50 has them on windage and elevation-- very underrated scope for lightweight, long range crowd. One of the most under-rated scopes out there for sure. The one Vortex that I think completely escapes their reputation for needing a warranty. Fantastic glass and controls and great reticle.
